Many people are obsessed with cats, even those who do not own one. A survey showed that humans highly admire these feline creatures for their ability to provide companionship and friendship.
Cats are highly independent animals. They self-clean and rarely defecate around the house. They are sometimes preferred to dogs since they are not as noisy but just as friendly and cheerful.
To make a successful sketch of a cat, start with basic shapes like an oval or boxy shape for the head. Use two triangles for the head and one for the nose. You may also decide to use an oval or round shape for the nose. The same thing goes for the body of the cat. Identify basic shapes within it and try to build on them. A good pro tip is to focus on the part of the cat you’re drawing at a particular time. This technique enables you to draw each piece well instead of getting overwhelmed by the entire drawing at once.
There are a variety of furs to use as references when painting, so do not limit your imagination. Good luck!
